What a terrible mess you have created. Pages too large as is Font. Alternate and wishy washy colours on your FILES page . Where is your Notes Page gone. I always called it CARD INDEX..

When you brought out your New Forum pages I specifically asked you to leave Our Sites alone as Members have paid for the Original, and you have taken away what they have paid for.AND OWN, not to have it altered by you. I see another Member has said it is terrible, and can you tell me why you Blocked my message for Forum, as it belonged to me, and there was nothing in their that went against the rules..

Hopefully you will answer this entry, as I point out again This is a clear entry

Hi Les, please send us a screenshot of the page with the font too large. We did try to keep the font size same as before. However, those using HTML in the homepage may notice changes to font size. This is because we are now HTML5 compliant. We will reinstate the "Notes" page soon. Also looking into the Files page colors.

. The html and html 5 will live together for a long time, but has nothing to do with the Screen Size, which seems to have gained about a fifth more width, which means I have to scroll, which incorrect as I want to see the whole screen at once

My settings on PC are Screen Resolution 800 x 600 which covers me watching anything on the Net without altering. I can see the whole of T P if I alter Screen Resolution to 1024 x 768, which also makes the whole picture smaller but fits my Monitor.

This now makes me have to go back to my original settings of 800 x 600 to see other WEB PAGES.

Why have you done this, as it is not advantageous to ant Member.?

Somehow I believe that Ravinder has not any knowledge of what has happened to T P since your first calamity with the Forums. I went to college for IT before Ravinder and knowing what we were taught at that time , about PRESENTATION, we both would frown on what has happened to a very good Program. It seems as if someone not very learned in IT has just gone silly.

Hopefully all this can be sorted soon, as Members are placing on the wrong Forums, VERY FEW , about three Members have said they like it,after your request to them and yet again another member has mentioned their dislike

Please alter my Screen back to size HTML and HTML 5 will live together and at the moment HTML will gain from this.

Has T P been taken over or can Ravinder give a few words about this. Your FORUM

Announcements s completely empty

All the best

I, and my sister, sent administrator change request emails to Tribal Pages Support and have not received a return email responding to our request. Our sister, who has been the head administrator for the Grant site is now deceased and we would like to know how to go about adding another family member(s) as administrator. The passwords that were previously used by 2 other family members are invalid for this site as well as the other. Please help! (PS. This is the 3rd request I’ve made).

I have to agree that the fonts and spacing are just too large. It creates a great amount of wasted space, not to mention that scrolling down a list takes much more distance.

The problem seem to have corrected itself last week but re-occurred over the weekend and today. Fonts size are large there does appear to any margin discipline.

We have reduced the font size by 6% and the line spacing (the space between lines) by the same. This applies to the main TribalPages website (including the forum). The Forum Topics page is now more compact.

Would you tell me and other members when you have finally finished "playing" with the home page. You are creating too many problems. Yesterday I edited the lines and today you have changed things again and now I have to do it all again.

Also there are other problems I found which I got around by using Internet Explorer in compatibility mode. Today I could not edit html links in Chrome or Edge.

I think you had better go back to where we were before you started making changes to the HOME PAGE and think it out all again. However do your experiments elsewhere. STOP experimenting on our home page.

Not sure what issues you are having with your websites. We have reverted back to the original application for your family trees for the last several hours. After listening to feedback we are making some changes before we reintroduce the updates again.

Please wait a day or two before making changes to your About section.

Several websites had issues with the homepage. The majority of the issues were due to members adding custom HTML/CSS/JavaScript code to their about section. The update enforces HTML5 standards strictly and can cause issues with errors or outdated code that you may have inserted.

html code I tried to add using Chrome and Edge was yours from other pages in my own tree. Could not be done until I went to IE in compatibility mode. All other html code that I have on the home page, that I have checked, works OK. It was changing and adding new code that was the problem using Chrome and Edge.

Same code exactly, worked fine when I used IE in compatibility mode.

Perhaps what I should have also added is that when I am not in compatibility mode in IE the home page will NOT accept being edited. Same as now applies for Microsoft and Edge. I have not tried Firefox. I will do that but will only comment further if I find a difference to the others.

In compatibility mode in IE the Forum page does not show exactly as it should.

My last message on this subject (I hope).

My comments in forum about EDITING using the various search engines are meant to refer ONLY to my HOME PAGE. Perhaps I did not make that clear earlier.

Same in Firefox for HOME PAGE as when using Edge, Chrome and IE (when IE not in compatibility mode).

I can edit notes/names etc . It is only the HOME Page for which I have a problem. Perhaps my being able to edit the home page using only IE compatibility mode, may give you a clue to help rectify the problem ?.

All now fixed by Tribalpages and at last I can edit my home page. Other problems also fixed by Tribalpages. Format now looks great.
